Got this out during a 34" storm and it absolutely slayed the trees and chutes. The flex profile is perfect for resort pow riding. Just the right balance of flex, pop, and setback. Flex is forgiving enough to smash through when things get tracked out but will LAUNCH when loaded up. Don't have enough good things to say about this deck. Austen killed it with this one. 200lb 5' 11" on a 159 and it handled it all.
Bought this slightly used and absolutely love it! Insane handling and easy edge switches, absorbs vibrations for extreme stability at high speeds, very aggressive and fast feeling, wants to send down anything and everything. I am 5’11” and 150lb and I have the 156, if you are going for more powder specific than definitely will want to go bigger, wish I had the 159. Overall could not ask for a better board, only problem I have noticed is the edges of the board (not the metal) are very soft and get cut/nicked very easily; doesn’t affect performance.
Can't say enough good about the Rig! Got on it for the first time last March on one of those endless refill days and there couldn't have been a better intro to this thing. Started off with a bang and its been amazing in all conditions since. Super quick edge to edge, floats, steady at speed, it's incredibly fun!
Can you guys please make a 162, not wide for the taller peps!?
I’ve been riding the BRD as my pow board the last 2 seasons and I love it. When this board was released I had to snag one. It feels to be a bit more aggressive feeling than the BRD. While it 100 percent shreds a carve it also loves being pointed and hailing ass over anything you put in front of it. I think the more taper of the BRD helps it likely float a bit better at lower speeds and more shallow terrain. But slower speeds is not how the lib rig wants to be ridden. It simply wants to haul ass and do what ever you need of it. Super stoked on this purchase. Do not hesitate. My only wish is that the board I received had a black base instead of the orange.
