ALL MOUNTAIN / DIRECTIONAL

Where on the mountain this snowboard is especially tuned to excel.
Beginner level snowboards are fun and approachable for all riders while an advanced snowboard is tuned for a particularly aggressive / athletic style of snowboarding.
How easily does this snowboard bend under pressure? A soft flex is great for fun maneuverability while a stiff flex is better for aggressive high speed hill bombing.

I just finished snowboard season #29, and have a collection of twin, directional, powder and hard-boot Alpine boards.. some with rocker, some hybrid, some with old school camber; each has their purpose for the riding companions and desires of the day. I bought my first Rocket about 4 years ago on a whim given 100% of my soft-boot time is all-mountain and in whatever conditions mother nature decided to throw at me that day. It seemed like a good compromise configuration where I wouldn't need to change boards 2-3x/day if conditions changed. But very quickly the Rocket became my favorite and perpetual all-day-every-day daily driver .. its 2.5in setback makes it floaty in fresh, the big effective edge gives hold even at speed on groomers, and the small radius side cut makes it turny AF, while the torsional rigidity on the long axis keeps it stable. Just heel or toe into a nose edge and it hooks you up SOLID into whatever radius turn you crave. I just bought my 4th Rocket, not because any of them failed, but because I will rue the day they stop making this board and want to have an inventory to ride for many future years. This board is no compromise, it's the best of all worlds in a sexy shape and top sheet that every liftie notices. Stop looking and hit "add to cart."
Just finishing up year 7 on this stick. Still absolutely LOVE this thing. Please don’t ever stop producing this board!!!!
I've been riding since the late 80's. This is the best board I've ever ridden period. I bought this board for powder days, but it quickly became my daily rider. Ride pow in the morning and rip the chunder and groomer the rest of the day. Hike out to the deeps and you'll never need another boards. I put 100+ days on my first one and just started in on the replacement. Old school camber, deep side cut, fun to carve on groomer days. Just buy it!
Great board. Floats very well on powder. Carves up the groomers equally as great. Been debating getting a new board for years to upgrade an older one and couldn't be happier this was the board I decided on. Goes great with Bent Metal bindings for a perfect mated ride.
