Travis took his beloved Orca and merged it with his elite high performance snowboard world freestyle tour dreams and multiplied them by Mike Olson’s technical composite wizardry to come up with this ultralight supreme Orca freestyle evolution. The long floaty Orca nose loves pow. A directional C2 contour rips resort, trenches hardpack, carves and blasts off mountainous side hits. The Orca’s unique powerful short radius camber tail provides power and control and maximum mobility and control in tight, steep technical terrain. Unidirectional carbon over 30° carbon mega X over magnesium fiber bands wrapping a recycled PET plastic bottles, Paulownia, and FSC® certified Aspen core. Eco sublimated bio beans top and rugged, fast sintered base. All this and the elimination of swing weight with new “Anti Matter” 3-D tips and tails... A P E X experience! Thanks, JoshS72 who made the bespoke board!

The season ended early because of the heat wave. Tahoe was melting! Last day of the lift at this fabulous resort formerly known as Squaw Creek. Saw folks navigating or sitting to scoot past gnarly terrain. Whoah! What I experienced on her debut outing was that the Apex Orca will transform slush, ice, and even mud into the most pleasant riding experience! I felt like the Silver Surfer! Super board

I own 2 boards a Capita Mega Mercury 158W & this board in 153. The Apex orca floats l like nothing i have experienced in knee to waist deep Japow days. It is my dedicated Pow board. Easy to turn in the deepest of pow & floats when the slopes mellow out while all ur friends are stuck. Best board for Japan tree runs. This board is super stiff & being a person with a shit knee & lower back from previous injuries. It can be tough on the body when the snow get chopped up & chundary. Doesn't absorb the bumps as well as the Mega mercury. Shouldn't be an issue for most people but if u are like me then might he a point to consider & maybe go with the normal orca. Having said that its a great board & fits well in my quiver.

Favorite Board I've Ever Owned

This board is absolutely fantastic. When I first pulled it out of the box, I was mesmerized by the Jessia Lichtenstein art blended with the carbon inlay. Look it up - it's quite impressive! On the mountain this board truly rips! I got mine at the end of the 2024 season and started with some nasty icy conditions, then got a pow day, then finished in slushy Spring. I was thrilled how versatile the board is. Highly recommend!

Quiver killer

This board is amazing. It carves like a knife and floats like a cloud. I can’t believe how it can hold an edge. After one day on this board I decided to sell my other boards and use this as my one board. It’s the quiver killer.

After riding and old tech board for years, this board has made a huge difference! The edges really grab and the flex makes for a nice ride.
