Such an epic ride !!! As a 90's oldschool freestyler still looking for glory on some directional missiles, I tested few directional Mervin rides at RockonSnow in Avoriaz and did not find anything better (for me) than this tool ! It's fast, nimble, damp, poppy, fun, back foot ripping...in love with that gun !!!
Hard charging ripper. The first thing I noticed was how well this board makes turns, super detailed and stepped up my edge control game. Great C3 camber pop and very stable on steeps and uneven terrain. As a little guy (5’4”, riding the 151cm) I initially thought the board was a bit stiff for me but after a couple times on it I was able to unlock more of it’s freestyle capabilities. Love this board.
I'm 58 years old and haven't had a new board since 2014 I just got back from a 4-day trip to Grand Targhee and Jackson hole and this board smashed down rendezvous mountain like no tomorrow also held a epic edge in the steep carving turns Jackson had to offer would recommend this board to anybody who likes to go fast thanks Marvin for building a epic board made right here in the USA
This thing wants to rip! It feels more stable at high speeds compared to low speeds. Dampens chatter and just allows you to rip through treacherous terrain. Really fun on groomers, high speed carves. Can definitely see this being a good banked slalom board, as I got to try it on a short snake run. Hoping for some deep powder days on this thing soon!
