Pickup Stick 8'0"

Super new to the sport but wanted something a little shorter to progress into. This board is awesome, catches just about everything, handles like a short board. Super happy with my choice as the pickup stick has made picking up the sport a smooth transition.

Love it ! Super fun wave catcher that actually turns well. Forgiving if you are not in the prefect position to drop in. Paddle, glide, strength and good looks. I have been very reluctant to ride a long board but this one puts a smile on my face. I look forward to growing gracefully old with this beauty.

I bought this stick and have been loving it. It's gigantic and gets into anything, yet turns good on rail. I mean, turns VERY well. This thing pocket rides a 4 foot bowly corner no problem. It's also very speedy... when you need it. The best longboard I've ever ridden, hands down. I couldn't be happier with this design! I am using the same single fin setup as the other reviewer, Kyle. I rode a jetty wave and maxima velocidad'd it into the rocks, exploding bio resin off the nose but the magnesium fiber underneath is impervious. The 9'0 collecting dust right now would've crushed and been dang difficult to repair, but not this one.

This board is so much fun! I got it originally as a small wave board and something that I could lend to friends. After riding it the first time I have switched to solely riding this board in almost every condition. It is the perfect rocker profile that helps you catch the smallest of the waves but still allows you to shred bigger more hollow waves. If you want to be the person catching every wave and maximizing the fun potential then this is the board to make that happen! 12/10

Great board for summer PNW surf. Paddles well, gets in early, but not too big to scratch your way out through some white water. I've tried a few different fin setups. Favorite is a single 8" Greenough 4-A (to the surprise of no one). For steep, dumpy waves where you need to set a rail quickly it goes good with a 6" flex fin and side bites. Bonus points for being durable enough to survive my kids.
